Things to do in Rome for the adventurer

Going to Rome and want to do some ‘not on every travel itinerary’ things? Let’s do this. 

Recently I traveled to Rome, and obviously checked off the must-sees: Trevi Fountain, the Vatican Museum, the Colosseum etc. These were all lovely and amazing!

However, we wanted to see more of Rome, and here are some things we loved.

1. Renting scooters: This was THE BEST way to travel around Rome, and it was so cheap. Plus, it was easy to get off if we wanted to explore a store or nearby church, and it was SO FUN.
2. Flower stand: There are so many of these around the city and they have beautiful bouquets. It was so much fun picking out a bouquet, and seeing all the beautiful flowers. They are open until late at night, so grab some before a night out!
3. Find a random church to explore: All around the city, there are churches that are pretty hidden, but they are all so beautiful. One of our favorite churches we ended up seeing, we stumbled upon while exploring the streets of Rome.
